Councilwoman Judith Green welcomes and District 1 will host the next Mayor’s Community Conversation at Carter Elementary on Monday, July 20th.
“I hope everyone will take advantage of the opportunity to come out and let us know if you have a concern or question about Metro Government,” says Green. “This is a chance to make your voice heard if you feel there is a problem that needs to be taken care of in the area.”
The Mayor’s Community Conversation will get underway at 6:30pm. Carter Elementary is located at 36000 Bohne Avenue.
The Community Conversations bring together representatives of all departments of Metro Government. The Jefferson County Public School System and U.S. Congressman John Yarmuth’s office is also represented.
“Metro Government always strives to serve the people of Louisville and Jefferson County and as elected leaders we need to hear from people as to how that service is working,” says Green.
Representatives of Green’s Office will be on hand as well as Council members Mary C. Woolridge (D-3), Cheri Bryant Hamilton (D-5) and President David Tandy (D-4)
