2013 Metro Parks Junior Golf Tour: Begins April 27

Younger golfers looking to gain competitive and fun golfing experience in tournament play are invited to participate in the annual Metro Parks Junior Golf Tour.

The 2013 Junior Golf Tour kicks-off April 27 and runs through August 5, with nine tournament dates held at Metro Parks golf courses throughout the city (see schedule and locations below).

The entry fee is $25.00 per tournament, and includes lunch and greens fee. No membership fees are required and there is no limit on participation. There will be prizes awarded to the top finishers in each age group. Each Metro Parks course event will have the same format.

Age divisions in each tournament include boys and girls ages 16-18 (18 holes), 14-15 (18 holes), 11-13 (9 holes), 9-10 (6 holes) and 8 and under (4 holes). Age group based on participant’s age as of Sunday before tournaments.

Entry forms are available at any Metro Parks golf course, or may be printed from an online form on the Parks website: www.metro-parks.org. Entry deadline: Forms and fees should be dropped off at the tournament location five days prior to each event.
