Louisville—Metro Parks and the Louisville Orchestra are giving the city a Valentine’s Day present in February with three free concerts.
“This is a great opportunity to see what a fine group of musicians we have in our Louisville Orchestra,” says Councilman Bob Henderson (D) 14. “I welcome them to our District.”
The Mayor’s “Arts in Parks” will present Valentine’s Chamber Music on Tuesday, February 13th and the Sun Valley Community Center. The Concert is from 6:30-7:30pm.
“I think is will be a nice little holiday present for people in our community,” says Henderson. “The Sun Valley Community Center is one place in our area offering a wide range of programs and this might give people a chance to experience something special our community has to offer.”
The Center is located at 6505 Bethany Lane.
The Louisville Orchestra is planning three concerts that week featuring the theme “Love Songs through the Ages”. The concerts are free to the public.
The String Quarter will perform at Sun Valley on the 13th. The Brass Quintet has two performances.
