Councilman Rick Blackwell has invited Louisville Metro Police Chief Robert White to be the featured speaker for February’s District 12 Dialogue at Kerrick Elementary on Tuesday, February 16th.

“I believe it is important for residents to know firsthand how our efforts to protect the public are being carried out,” says Blackwell. “Chief White has made it a point to come and talk with us and hear concerns of the people in this district.”

Chief White will be on hand to talk about priorities for the department as well as answer questions about crime concerns and trends.

Kerrick Elementary is located at 2210 Upper Hunters Trace. The meeting will get underway at 7:00pm.

Joining the Chief will be representatives of other Metro Government agencies including MSD, Licensing and Permits, Neighborhoods and Public Works. A Representative of Congressman John Yarmuth’s office will also be on hand.

“I want to encourage everyone in the district to come out and meet the Chief,” says Blackwell. “We also want to know if there are any other problems or concerns that we need to be aware of.”
