Trilogy Health Services Announces Expansion of Headquarters

Thursday December 15, 2011

Mayor Greg Fischer and executives of Trilogy Health Services, LLC announced today that the company will expand its headquarters in Louisville because of major growth in the region. The expansion will result in 50 new jobs and will entail $1.76 million investment in new equipment and building expense and $3 million in new annual payroll.

“Retaining Trilogy in Louisville speaks to the strength of our business community and the ever-growing importance of being best in world for our industry cluster of lifelong aging and wellness companies,” said Fischer. “I look forward to continuing a positive working relationship with Trilogy and its management, and congratulate them on their growth.”

Founded December 1997, Trilogy Health Services, LLC is a provider of senior living and long-term healthcare services. Trilogy communities offer a full range of personalized services, from independent and assisted living, to skilled nursing and rehabilitative services. Trilogy currently operates 65 health campuses throughout the midwest.

“Our growth as a support center is directly attributable to the great services provided by nearly 8,500 associates in our 67 communities and ancillary service operations, and we are honored the mayor has joined us to mark this next step in Trilogy’s journey,” said Trilogy President and CEO Randy Bufford. “We also appreciate the financial support of the state and Louisville Metro for our employees and the campuses we serve. Louisville has a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of quality and innovative care in the senior services arena. Our goal is to continue to enhance our ability to serve our residents, employees, profession and communities with a compassionate commitment to providing exceptional customer service.”

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) approved Trilogy Health Services for tax incentives up to $1.25 million through the Kentucky Business Investment program. The performance-based incentive will allow Trilogy to keep a portion of its investment over a 10-year period through corporate income tax credits and wage assessments by meeting job and investment targets.

“Trilogy is a prime example of the strong, local headquarters company that is making Louisville the world leader in the lifelong wellness and aging care sector,” said Eileen Pickett, Executive Vice President of Greater Louisville Inc. “They are invested in the industry and our community, and we could not be happier to celebrate their expansion here.”
