4th Street Live! Announces 7 New Tenants

Mayor Jerry Abramson, The Hogan Group and The Cordish Company today announced the addition of seven tenants to 4th Street Live!

“These restaurants and retail businesses are important additions to 4th Street Live and downtown Louisville," stated Mayor Jerry Abramson. "Downtown workers and visitors alike will enjoy these quality options for dining and shopping."
“The tenants announced today will help rejuvenate 4th Street to a vibrant daytime and nighttime district which caters to the needs of a broad and diverse demographic base from downtown office workers, to regional residents to visitors,” said Blake L. Cordish, Vice President of The Cordish Company. “Great downtown retail districts provide an eclectic mix of amenities and services and these tenants represent an important and exciting step to achieving that goal.”

New tenants include:

Foot Locker

With 2,000 stores worldwide, Foot Locker is the world's largest athletic footwear and apparel retailer. Foot Locker is part of Foot Locker, Inc., a specialty athletic retailer that operates more than 3,600 athletic retail stores in 16 countries in North America, Europe and Australia. In addition to Foot Locker, the company operates Lady Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker and Champs Sports, as well as its direct-to-customer channel and is the leading provider of athletic footwear and apparel. The 2,750 sq. ft. store is located on Liberty Street, west of Borders Books and will open in late April.

Rocky Rococo Pizza and Pasta

“At Rocky’s, there is only one boss, and that’s the customer” For more than 25 years, people have enjoyed the fresh taste of Rocky Rococo’s Pizza By-The-Slice. Throughout the years, menu choices have expanded to include “whole pie” pizza, salads, pastas, desserts, and more. Taipei Café
The cuisine of Taipei Café is truly unique, presenting traditional Chinese dishes as well as other Asian cuisines such as Taiwanese, Thai, and so on. The menu features much more than the usual stir-fry - charcoal-grilled, steamed, and “cold mixed” dishes with an unexpected blend of flavors and taste are available as well. Ingredients are fresh, the fare is both delicious and nutritious, and the staff is unendingly friendly and courteous. Taipei Cafe is owned and managed by the Betsy Tao, the owner and operator of Wok’N’Stix and Lajadi’s restaurants in the former Louisville Galleria.

Cold Stone

Creamery Cold Stone Creamery was developed to create the perfect ice cream experience, and is carried through by a community of franchisees passionate about ice cream. The secret recipe for smooth and creamy ice cream is handcrafted fresh daily in each store, and then customized by combining a variety of mix-ins on a frozen granite stone. With more than 600 stores from coast to coast, Cold Stone Creamery plans to establish 1,000 stores by December 31, 2004. The 20,000 square foot Food Court will include seven (7) cuisine options and will be located on the 2nd floor of the east side of the development above TGI Friday’s. The Food Court will be accessible via stairs, an escalator and an elevator from the ground floor level.

4th Street Live! will have something for everyone and will provide valuable services to the downtown office workers and residents. In addition to the massive entertainment district, the development will offer retail stores, a United States Post Office branch, the food court and ATMs.

Previously announced tenants include: Lucky Strike, Red Cheetah, Rascals Comedy Club, Funky Parrot, Hard Rock Cafe, Red Star Tavern, T.G.I. Friday’s, McFadden’s Bar and Restaurant, Borders Bookstore, Ginny’s Hallmark, CVS Pharmacy, The Fashion Shop and Premier Fitness.
