Councilwoman Adams To Host Transportation Open House

Louisville, KY - Louisville Metro Councilwoman Julie Raque Adams, in conjunction with Louisville Metro Planning and Design Services, will hold an open house meeting on Tuesday, November 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. The event will be held in room 218 of the Founders Building, located on U of L’s Shelby Campus.
The meeting is designed to elicit feedback from residents of District 18 on the various transportation issues facing the district. Reducing and managing the traffic on Shelbyville Road and Hurstbourne Lane, the proposed new interchange at Hurstbourne Parkway and Interstate 64, and the proposed roadway network for the undeveloped property of Bullitt Farm are amongst the issues that will be examined. Councilwoman Adams and Metro Planning and Design will also discuss the ongoing District 18 transportation study and small area plan during a presentation at 6:30 p.m. Maps and computer renderings of potential transportation improvements will be made available to residents at the meeting.
