Ad Hoc Committee on Redistricting announces six regional meetings for Metro Council District maps

Residents of Metro Louisville will have the opportunity to review the 26 proposed Metro Council redistricting maps in one of six regional meetings. The Ad Hoc Committee on Redistricting has announced the dates, times and locations of those meetings.

“These regional meetings were set up to cover all areas of Metro Louisville,” says Councilman Rick Blackwell (D-12) who chairs the Ad Hoc Committee. “We want to give everyone a chance to review what has been proposed and make comment.”

Representatives of the Ad Hoc Committee and Council members will be on hand to make a presentation about the process. Maps of specific areas will also be available for those who wish to see the proposed changes.

Here are the locations for the six regional meetings.

East Regional Redistricting Meeting
