Metro Animal Services Furry March Madness

Monday March 18, 2013

The NCAA basketball tournament is in full swing and the animals of Louisville Metro know it! Since March 1st, over 350 dogs and cats have come through the doors of Louisville Metro Animal Services (LMAS) and our kennels are full!

“Our furry friends would much rather be at home, on the couch, watching the NCAA basketball games than spending their evenings in a shelter,” said Justin L. Scally, Director of Louisville Metro Animal Services. “Spring is a time of new beginnings, a ‘purr-fect’ time to give shelter pets a HOME court advantage.”

Now thru the end of March, LMAS is offering a Furry March Madness Adoption Special. Every cat and dog at the Animal House Adoption Center is represented by a NCAA Tourney Team. Every time that team wins, so do you in terms of discounts. Get up to $100 off adoption fees with an approved application.

On Saturday and Sunday, April 6th and 7th, LMAS staff and volunteers will go into ‘overtime’ to help save pets – show your love of the game and excitement for the NCAA Final Four and Championship Game by wearing your favorite team’s jersey to the Animal House Adoption Center! Don’t forget to walk out the door with a new life-long friend!

We have no doubt that our team’s ‘underdogs’ or ‘undercats’ will bring happiness to your life!
