Last Friday, Councilman David Tandy welcomed the American Bar Association-Young Lawyers Division's Annual Fall Conference to Louisville. The conference, held at the Brown Hotel, offered hundreds of young lawyers from across the country networking opportunities and programs for professional and personal development.

Councilman Tandy also invited attendees to join him in a Fourth District Day of Service Initiative. Approximately 40 volunteers boarded a trolley and headed out to make improvements at Rubel Park, off Barret Avenue, and organize items at Clothe-A-Child, on Muhammad Ali Boulevard.

The service initiative was aimed at offering conference attendees an opportunity to see other areas of Louisville and focus on public service by providing them with an opportunity to benefit the local community.
