Louisville, KY – Councilman Kevin Kramer (District 11) and the Legal Aid Society will sponsor a free Will Clinic on Saturday, February 6th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00p.m. at Hunsinger Lane Baptist Church, 3400 Summerfield Drive. The clinic is designed to provide life-planning documents such as a Last Will and Testament, Power of Attorney, Health Care Surrogate, and Living Will. Clients walk away from the clinic with these important documents in hand, usually within an hour.
Low-income seniors unable to afford the services of an attorney frequently go without these documents. Legal Aid Society works with low-income seniors to draft and execute these legal documents which enable them to plan prudently for the time when they will no longer have the capacity to do so.
To qualify for this service, clients must meet federal poverty guidelines. For a family of four, annual household income must be $44,100 or less.
To RSVP please contact the District 11 office at 574-1111 or via e-mail: Kevin.firstname.lastname@example.org.
