Public hearing on scenic corridors for districts 22, 23 set for Sept. 27

District 22 Councilman Robin Engel and District 23 Councilman James Peden encourage area residents to attend a public hearing on scenic corridors at 7 p.m. Monday at the Central Government Center on Outer Loop Drive.

Representatives from Louisville Metro Planning & Design services will conduct the hearing on the proposed designation of scenic corridors.

The areas in District 22 that could be considered for scenic corridor designation include Cedar Creek Road, Fairmount Road, Independence School Road, Johnson School Road and Thixton Lane.

In District 23, the proposed areas are portions of Mt. Washington Road, Sentimental Lane and Rocky Road.
