It is a chance for neighbors to take a little time out of a busy week and get to know each other and find out what’s going on around them. The Hallmark Neighborhood Association is hosting its annual Block Party on the last weekend in September.
“Hallmark is one of our most established and active Associations in the district” says Councilwoman Mary C. Woolridge (D) 3. “This is always a fun event for families.”
The Block Party will get underway from 12:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, September 29th. It will be held in the 1900 block of Cypress Street between Dixdale Avenue and Oregon Avenue.
The will be free food, sodas, games, music and prizes. Woolridge is a sponsor of the event.
“I would encourage everyone to come out and enjoy a nice fall weekend and you might also learn more about the Hallmark Neighborhood Association and the work it is doing in our community,” says Woolridge.
