Councilwoman Scott invites District 1 to “Ask Attica” on Feb. 7th

Residents of District 1 are invited to the next “Ask Attica” Community Conversation set for Tuesday, February 7 to talk over issues and concerns with Councilwoman Attica Scott and other representatives of Metro Government.

“I want the people of District 1 to feel connected to local government and voice their concerns to the proper department if there are problems or issues,” say Scott. “It is also a chance to talk with me about the future of District 1.”

“Ask Attica” will take place at Farnsley Middle School Cafeteria, 3400 Lees Lane beginning at 6:30pm.

Representatives from Public Works, IPL, Parks, MSD, SWMS, TARC, Animal Services, Metro Safe, Lake Dreamland Fire Dept., Economic Development, Cane Run Neighborhood Place as well as the 2nd and 3rd Division LMPD will be in attendance. Each department will have a table set up to distribute information and materials.

The District 1 Advisory Council will meet at 5:30PM prior to the Community meeting. The “Famous Firemen Chili” will be provided by the Louisville Metro Fire Department.

“I hope that community groups will encourage their neighbors to come out,” says Scott. “I look forward to meeting everyone.”
