Louisville – Councilwoman Mary C. Woolridge will hold her next Town Hall Meeting for the residents of District 3 to talk about issues important to the district on Monday, June 18th.
“We will have a special discussion that evening for those people who have experienced the sooty black substances on their property and unpleasant odors in the air,” says Woolridge. “We also want to make other Metro Government agencies available to anyone who may have an issue or concern.”
The Air Pollution Control District is among the many agencies that will be on hand for the meeting. Other agencies invited are Metro Police, Codes and Regulations/IPL, Public Works and Assets and Solid Waste Management.
The District 3 Town Hall Meeting will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the C.E. Kirby Center, 2308 Algonquin Parkway. The center is adjacent to the Southern Star Baptist Church.
“My special guest at this meeting is LMPD Chief Steve Conrad. I want to make sure everyone gets the chance to meet the person who is responsible for keeping us safe. The Chief is making every effort to get to know the people of our district,” says Woolridge. “So please come out and let us know what we can do to help you,”
