Councilman Tandy to address students about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr as part of Black History month

Louisville – Metro Councilman David Tandy (D) 4 will be the featured speaker at Floyd Central High School on Thursday, February 1st.

Tandy will be talking to students on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as part of the school’s Black History month program.

He will be reviewing the important messages and sermons delivered by Dr. King and the relevance of his message not only in the 1960’s but in light of world events today. This is the fourth time Tandy has delivered remarks for Black History month.

The program will get underway at 9:00am in the auditorium of the school.

Floyd Central High School is located at 6575 Old Vincennes Road, Floyd Knobs Indiana.
