Floyd’s Fork Pavilion to host Grand Opening

Louisville, KY – Metro Councilman Stuart Benson will be joined by representatives of Louisville Metro Government and the Jeffersontown Youth Soccer League as they celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Floyd’s Fork Park. 

The ceremony will start at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 22 and culminates 5 years of work and more than $678,000 in improvements made to the park. The Floyd’s Fork Pavilion includes room for a concession stand, meeting room and restrooms to serve the hundreds of families that use the park each week.

Other improvements to Floyd’s Fork Park include the installation of new playground equipment and a perimeter fence to protect the fields from vehicle damage.
