District 22 Councilman Robin Engel and District 23 Councilman James Peden will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at the Teamsters Local Union Hall #783 to discuss the proposed extension of Cooper Chapel Road.

This meeting is a follow-up to a previous public meeting, held last fall, which determined that the best corridor from Beulah Church Road to Bardstown Road would be to extend Cooper Chapel Road.

However, the proposed alignment has not been determined. The meeting on Monday will discuss establishing a preliminary alignment for the project.

Speakers will include Engel, Peden and Mark Adams of Metro Public Works, who will give a history and overview of the project.

A breakout session to view maps and ask questions will follow the presentations. Teamsters Local Union Hall #783 is located at 7711 Beulah Church Road.
