Improving Metro Government Performance is the topic for the August District 12 Dialogue

Louisville – Councilman Rick Blackwell will host the Metro Director of Performance Improvement at the next District 12 Dialogue on Tuesday, August 21st.t District 12 Dialogue.
“This Department is one of the new initiatives created by Mayor Greg Fisher,” says Blackwell. “I think it is important for the public to have an opportunity to understand what the Mayor is trying to accomplish for city services.”
Theresa Reno-Weber, Director of Performance Improvement, will be the Guest Speaker at the event. She is charged with looking at all of Metro Louisville's Departments and Agencies to find opportunities to make government more effective and easily accessible for the people it serves.
“I would encourage everyone to come out and offer any suggestions you might have or ideas to make Metro Government services more efficient,” says Blackwell.
Representatives from LMPD, IPL, MSD, and Congressman John Yarmuth's office will be on hand to answer constituent questions.
The meeting will take place at the Southwest Government Center, 7219 Dixie Highway beginning at 7:00pm.
