Transportation and Public Works Committee to hold Public Hearing on Insight Franchise Agreement

The Transportation and Public Works Committee will give the public a chance to comment on the proposed Cable Franchise Agreement with Insight Kentucky Partners on Wednesday, November 10th.

“Metro Government is required to hold a public hearing before any cable franchise agreement is approved,” says Councilwoman Cheri Bryant Hamilton (D-5) who chairs the Committee. “We want the public to have an opportunity to express any thoughts or concerns they may have about Insight’s operations in the Metro area.”

The public hearing will take place in Council Chambers beginning at 3:00pm.

Persons who wish to speak will be given three minutes and may sign up in person one hour before the meeting beginning at 2:00pm on the Third Floor of the City Hall, 601 West Jefferson Street. No phone sign ups are permitted.

Written comments or other pertinent documentation may be submitted to the Transportation and Public Works Committee through the Metro Council Clerk’s Office at any time prior to the close the hearing. The Metro Council clerk’s email is
