The last District 12 Dialogue 2007 will be held at Doss High School, 7601 St. Andrews Church Road beginning at 7:00pm on Tuesday, November 13th. It will serve as an opportunity to learn more about Jefferson County’s Property Valuation Administrator and its role in Metro Government.
“Tony Lindauer will be our featured speaker, giving everyone a chance to ask questions about property assessments and how his office operates,” says Metro Council President Rick Blackwell (D) 12. “I have asked Tony to not only explain property valuations but also talk about Homestead Exemption for those 65 and older,” says Blackwell.
Representatives of other Metro Government Departments including Metro Police, MSD and IPL will be on hand to address any resident questions or concerns about issues in the district.
Blackwell has held District 12 Dialogues since 2003 as way to connect one on one with the people of the district. For more information, call President Blackwell’s office at 574-1112.
