Louisville – The questions have been asked. The information has been compiled. Now it is time for those who live in the Parkland Community to review answers to a recent survey on how to move forward into the future.

Councilwoman Attica Scott (D-1) invites residents of Parkland to a Town Hall Meeting session set for next Tuesday, August 19th to discuss the findings of a recent Neighborhood Assessment Project (NAP) survey.

“This survey has already been completed but now the next phase kicks in,” says Scott. “It’s time to review the information to see how we can accomplish what the people of Parkland want to see done for improvements.”

The meeting will be hosted by Councilwoman Scott and the Center for Neighborhoods.

The NAP will assess what short and long term goals can be accomplished for improvement in Parkland, access the current status of neighborhoods and define steps to move forward.

“We need to hear from the people of Parkland,” says Scott. “Everyone should be involved when we talk about changing and improving anywhere we live in Metro Louisville.”

The Town Hall Meeting will be held at Maupin Elementary located at 1312 Catalpa Street from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

For more information, contact Councilwoman Scott’s office at 574-1101.
