“Little Fockers” brings another successful fun season of “Movies under the Stars” to a close

After enjoying the entertainment of the Monarchs at 5pm, hang around as Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro help wind up the 2011 season of “Movies under the Stars” this Sunday, September 11, at 8pm, with “Little Fockers” at the Iroquois Amphitheatre.

“Once again, a successful year,” says Councilwoman Marianne Butler (D-15). “I want to thank everyone who came out to this year’s movies and also to my colleagues on the Metro Council who helped fund this program.”

Butler is one of several Council members who sponsor the summer program. Other Council members include David James (D-6), Rick Blackwell (D-12), Vicki Aubrey Welch (D-13), Bob Henderson (D-14) Dan Johnson (D-21), Jim King (D-10), Mary C. Woolridge (D-3), David Yates (D-25), Jon Ackerson (R-18), Robin Engel (R-22) and Brent Ackerson (D-26).

“Little Fockers” is the third in the popular series and also stars Teri Polo, Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand

The movie begins at 8pm. Concessions are open during the Monarchs and the movie.
