Louisville – Louisville’s new Police Chief, Steve Conrad will be among the featured guests when Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh hosts the Ninth District Spring Community Forum on Monday, April 2nd.
“This forum is an opportunity to come out and meet the man who will be leading Louisville Metro Police,” says Ward-Pugh. “Public Safety is a top priority for me and I want the public to meet our new chief and share any concerns they may have with regard to crime or crime prevention.”
Chief Conrad is one of the guest speakers for the forum. There will also be an update on Sidewalk Projects with Dirk Gowin of Metro Public Works. It will be followed by a presentation of ECO-CELL Recycling with Brian Heckel and Lindsey Ronay.
Bring your handheld electronics to drop off to recycle for FREE through ECO-CELL as a fundraiser for the Green Triangle Initiative. Acceptable items include; cell phones, cell phone accessories, digital camera, iPods and MP3 players, handheld game systems, GPS handheld units, laptops, e-readers and portable hard drives.
The forum begins at 6:00pm with the guest speakers. Then a question and answer session will follow. The Forum will take place at St. Matthews City Hall, 3940 Grandview Avenue, 40207.
“I want to encourage everyone to come out and meet our speakers and talk with me about issues or concerns you might have – especially in the Ninth District,” says Ward-Pugh.
