If it is time to replenish the garden or get the flower beds ready for a new growing season, residents of District 14 have a chance to find what they are looking for at Riverside’s Plant and Herb Sale this weekend.
“I want to encourage everyone in the area to come out and see what a great sale this is for our area,” says Councilman Bob Henderson (D-14). “It is a chance to help Riverside and at the same time weekend gardeners may find something they would like to enhance the beauty of their home.”
The Riverside Plant and Herb Sale will get underway from 8:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday, April 16th. Then the sale will resume on Sunday April 17th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. There will also be a special Early Bird Sale on Friday, April 15th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
The sale will offer a variety of annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, seeds gardening items and gardening advice.
“It is a wonderful weekend event, and all proceeds from the sale go to the mission of Riverside in preserving this wonderful historic area,” says Henderson.
