Senior Citizens in District 1 will have an easier opportunity to ask questions and learn what is going on in their district thanks to Councilwoman Judith Green.

“Instead of seniors having to find a way to attend one of my regular community meetings, we are taking the meeting to them,” says Green.

The Councilwoman has announced the return of her “Lunch, Learn and Chat” sessions in District 1 Senior Living facilities as well as Adult Day Care centers. There will also be two special meetings planned for residents who are not affiliated with either of those facilities.

Highland Park Baptist Church will host the event for seniors in District 1 South and the Nia Center will host the event for seniors in District 1 West.

“During these meetings, seniors will be able to voice their concerns directly to me and my staff, pick up vital information geared specifically to the needs of seniors,” says Green. “It is also a chance to come out and have lunch and enjoy some fun”
