Contact: Tony Hyatt 574-4137/526-3622

Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh (D) 9 is encouraging the public to come out to a series of meetings designed to explain the latest in improving Brownsboro Road for pedestrians and traffic flow.

The first of three public meetings is set for Wednesday, August 29th at 6:30 pm. The meeting will be held at Field Elementary School, 120 Sacred Heart Lane.

“This is a proposal that will deal with the congestion between Haldeman and Ewing on Brownsboro Road,” says Ward-Pugh. “It is important that we not only explain the proposal but hear from residents in the area.”

Two other public meetings are planned for Wednesday, September 12th, 6:30pm at the Clifton Center, 2117 Payne Street. The other Saturday, September 15th, 9:00am at the Mellwood Arts Center, 1860 Mellwood Avenue.

For more information about the meetings, contact Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh’s office at 574-1109.
