A special invitation is being extended to residents of the Ninth District from Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh. It is an invitation of opportunity. The Ninth District Community Forum will get underway on Tuesday, April 13th, giving residents a chance to talk about any concerns they have or learn more about various programs in Metro Government.
“This is your opportunity to talk to me and other Metro Government officials about a problem or issue,” says Ward-Pugh. “We can do many things in government but it is important that the community have input in setting priorities or resolving problems in their neighborhood.”
The Ninth District Annual Spring Community Forum will take place at the Girls Scouts of Kentuckiana, 2115 Lexington Road, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided.
Guest Speakers include: LMPD, Officer Artman; Director IPL, James Mims; IPL, Inspector Michael Lamey; Assistant Director Metro Public Works, Rick Storm; and City Arborist, Mark White.
“I’m looking forward to sharing some new initiatives for the 9th District,” says Ward-Pugh. “This will be a great chance for new residents to meet officials and perhaps get more involved in their community.”
If you have questions about the Community Forum, please contact Councilwoman Ward-Pugh’s office at 574-1109 or email firstname.lastname@example.org .
