Metro Councilman Stuart Benson to Participate in Blankenbaker Parkway Groundbreaking Ceremony

Louisville, KY –Metro Councilman Stuart Benson (District 20) will participate in a ground breaking ceremony with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for the Blankenbaker Parkway Extension project. Governor Steve Beshear and Acting Transportation Secretary Mike Hancock will officially break ground on this $5.1 million project that extends Blankenbaker Parkway to Taylorsville Road. The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, March 24th at 2:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Taylorsville Road end of the construction project. From Taylorsville Road turn onto Landherr Drive and the event will be on the left near the Deer Creek Patio Homes community building, 4101 Landherr Drive. In case of rain, the event will be held inside the community building.
