While the Beatles will be landing on the river this weekend, the Beagles have landed at Metro Animal Services! In honor of the overwhelming Beagle frenzy that has taken over MAS, the adoption fees for all Beagles six months and older have been reduced to $70 until May 30, 2009. There are over 20 beagles to choose from, including John, Paul, George, Ringo, Yoko, Patti and Linda.
“We have such a great selection of Beagles right now that we thought we’d put it in Beatle terms. So, don’t hide your love away”, said Jackie Gulbe, assistant director for Metro Animal Services. “You’ve got to get one into your life because all they need is love and a little help from an adoptive friend, so they can love you eight days a week!”
All animals come with a full adoption package, which includes spaying or neutering, rabies vaccination and license, preventative vaccinations, deworming, heartworm test, microchip and $100 in coupons from Feeders Supply.
People interested in adopting can visit Metro Animal Services at 3705 Manslick Road. Adoption hours are as follows:
Mondays and Saturdays -- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays --10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesdays and Fridays --10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Closed Monday, May 25 for the Holiday.
Metro Animal Services has the largest number of animals for adoption at a single location and is the largest animal services agency in Kentucky.
