METCO Approves Three Loans to Small Businesses

Three loans in the amount of $200,000 were approved by the Louisville Metropolitan Business Development Corporation. These loans will leverage $511,000 in total investment.
· $50,000 loan to Louisville Grinders, LLC, located at 426 W. Jefferson. The loan will allow franchise owners, Brian and Jennifer Moore, to open a new lunchtime option in downtown that will offer more than 20 different hot baked sandwiches. This project will create 5 new jobs.
· $50,000 loan to Patterson and Company CPAs PLLC, located at 1904 Eastern Parkway. The loan will allow owner Bob Patterson Jr. to start up a new CPA firm. Patterson was part owner and CFO of Consumer Choice Coffee, and recently sold his interest.
· $100,000 loan to SAL of Louisville, LLC, located at 3042 Wilson Avenue. This loan will allow owners Robert Holmes and Randy Roth to build out vacant space in the retail development at Park DuValle. The vacant space will become a Subway Sandwich Shop. This Subway store is projected to create seven new jobs.
