Louisville, KY - Louisville Metro Councilman Robin Engel (District 22) and the Fern Creek Community Association and Chamber of Commerce will hold a District 22 clean-up on Saturday, March 26 between 8:00 a.m. and noon.
Clean-Up volunteers will meet at the Fern Creek Community Center (6104 Bardstown Road) and plan to pick up litter along Hurstbourne Parkway/StoneyBrook and the Bardstown Road area. Volunteers at the event will receive free t-shirts, trash bags and gloves.  The clean-up will last for approximately 4 hours.

Last year more than 75 persons participated in the annual District 22 Cleanup and helped the office earn Brightside’s “2010 Golden Broom Award” for successfully organizing one of the largest clean-ups in our community.
Persons seeking additional information on this event are encouraged to call Jean at the Chamber at 239-7550 or the office of Metro Councilman Robin Engel at 574-1122 or e-mail robin.engel@louisvilleky.gov.
