The Honorable Bobbie Holsclaw, the Jefferson County Clerk, will be the featured guest of the August 19th District 12 Dialogue at Mt. Everest Baptist Church.
“The Jefferson County Clerk is essential to the organization and record keeping in Jefferson County,” says Councilman Rick Blackwell (D-12). “The Clerk’s Office not only handles boat and automobile licenses, but also keep deed records and voter registrations.”
Once a month, Blackwell hosts a forum which focuses on an agency of government. It is a chance for residents of District 12 to learn more about the featured agency as well as ask questions or report problems on any other concerns involving Metro Government.
“I am pleased that Bobbie Holsclaw is willing to come out to answer questions about how the Clerk’s office works,” says Blackwell.
Representatives of Metro Police, the Division of Licensing and Regulations, Neighborhoods, MSD and other agencies will also be on hand along with a representative of Congressman John Yarmuth’s office.
The Mt. Everest Baptist Church is located at 6012 Mt Everest Drive off of Lower Hunters Trace.
