Metro Councilman Peden to host 10th Annual McNeely Lake Cleanup

Louisville, KY - Louisville Metro Councilman James Peden will host the 10th  Annual McNeely Lake Cleanup on Saturday, October 5, 2013. The cleanup will start at 9:00 a.m. and will last approximately three hours, each year tons of trash is collected along the lake and throughout the park. Participants will be given gloves and trash bags to collect debris and overgrown plant materials along the lake, please be sure to dress appropriately. A lunch by Bootleg BBQ and live music by A Girl Named Earl will be provided starting at 10:00 a.m. for persons participating in this year’s efforts. If you have a canoe or small flat-bottomed boat that you are willing to bring, please contact our office.
