Louisville – Due to the chance of inclement weather, Councilman Dan Johnson (D-21) and the Beechmont Neighborhood Association announce “Christmas on the Corner” a holiday tradition set for this Friday, December 6th has been rescheduled for next Saturday, December 14th.

“We will be joining with the Friends of the Library and combining our holiday celebration with theirs,” says Johnson.

“Christmas on the Corner” will get underway at 11:00am on Saturday with Santa’s annual arrival at the Gazebo at Southern Parkway at Woodlawn Avenue. The Jolly Old Elf will lead children and others in song as they walk to the Iroquois Library singing carols. In the Library Auditorium, there will be plenty of cookies and hot chocolate to enjoy while the children share their Christmas wishes with Santa at the Christmas Party.

The event is free. The Iroquois Library is located at 601 W. Woodlawn Ave.
