Councilman Kramer to Host Trolley Tour Focusing on District 11Louisville, KY: Councilman Kevin Kramer will host a trolley tour for residents of District 11 on Saturday, August 4 starting at 8:30 am at the Jeffersontown Library (10635 Watterson Trail) Councilman Kramer will lead a group constituents on a tour of District 11 and its surrounding areas.
Councilman Kramer initiated the idea of a town hall meeting on wheels in 2005. This year’s tour will focus on District 11 locations such as: Skyview Park, Bluegrass Industrial Park, Jeffersontown City Hall, Blackacre Nature Preserve, the Blackacre Community Garden and much more.
"I am very excited about this year's trolley tours, they will highlight some of the exciting things happening both in our surrounding community of District 11 and in our downtown. For residents that do not often have the opportunity to come downtown, this tour will allow them to see the tremendous amount development taking place in our city." - Kevin Kramer
The free “trolley tour” will last approximately 3 hours, and is limited to 22 participants on a first come first serve basis.
