Metro Councilwoman Ellen Call (District 26) will sponsor a Health Fair on Wednesday, October 25 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The District 26 Health Fair will be located at St. Andrew Church of Christ (2608 Browns Lane) and will provide residents with numerous health screenings and other services.
Services Available at the Clinic:
-Flu Shots will be administered by the Visiting Nurses Association for $30 and pneumonia shots for $40 (Medicare Part B accepted).
- Life Line Screenings will also be offered for Carotid Vascular, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, Peripheral Arterial Disease and Osteoporosis for between $40 and $49 when appointment is made by Calling 894-9228
- Legal Aid Society will host a free clinic on the preparation of a Will
- Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) will be present to discuss starting neighborhood watches.
- The Metro Animal Services Department will be present with their mobile SPOT unit designed to assist in the adoption of pets along with the spaying and neutering of animals.
