Councilman Rick Blackwell (D-12) will focus on public safety when the District 12 Dialogue gets underway on Tuesday, May 19th at 7:00pm at the Grace Tabernacle, 6901Mt. Calvary Road.
“With summer coming on, there are more opportunities for crime in neighborhoods,” says Blackwell. “So I have invited Major Jim Sohan of the LMPD 3rd Division to speak to us.”
Major Sohan will be available to talk about the latest programs and concerns the LMPD has for the District and Southwest Louisville.
“It’s important to get know the officers and commanders who patrol our streets and know of ways we can help them prevent and solve crimes,” says Blackwell.
Joining Sohan at the meeting will be representatives from the Division of Licensing and Permits, Neighborhoods and MSD to answer questions about programs or concerns. A representative of Congressman John Yarmuth's office will also be in attendance.
