Mayor’s Healthy Hometown Offering Mini-grants

The Mayor’s Healthy Hometown Movement is now accepting applications for 2012 mini-grants. The grants will range from $2,000 to $3,000 each and will fund activities that support physical activity, healthy nutrition, tobacco use prevention and cessation and chronic disease prevention and management.
Applicants must be incorporated as nonprofit corporations and qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Grant guidelines and the application are available online at www.louisvilleky.gov/healthyhometown. Applications must be received at the Department of Public Health and Wellness at 400 E. Gray St. by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 6.
