Metro Animal Services Final Four Adoption Special

Thursday April 3, 2014

In the spirit of March Madness, Louisville Metro Animal Services (LMAS) is running a “pawsome” adoption special this weekend. All cats and dogs over six months of age can be adopted for only $9, with an approved application Friday, April 4th- Sunday, April 6th, 2014. Regular March Madness discounts will apply for puppies and kittens.

In addition to this great deal, any potential adopter wearing their favorite team’s jersey will receive a free ID tag and a new toy for their pet, while supplies last.

Although the basketball season may be coming to an end, your fun and games with a new best friend can begin. With the weather warming up, it’s a perfect time to adopt a pet. Enjoy the spring days playing fetch in the backyard with a new dog or snuggling up and watching a movie during an April shower with a furry feline. LMAS has a variety of animals for adoption, one is sure to fit your family’s personality.

“Our Adoption Team gets to know our animals and gives them a fun nickname, such as Cozy Companion or Energy Hound,” said Margaret Brosko, LMAS Senior Manager of Special Initiatives & Communications. “This really helps potential adopters get an idea about the animal’s personality and whether they would be a perfect match.”

Animal and basketball lovers alike are encouraged to visit LMAS’ Animal House Adoption Center, 3516 Newburg Road, to find their new team member!
