“Monsters University” is the next District 5 Friday Night Outdoor Family Film Festival on August 1st

LouisvilleSpend this Friday night watching how monsters become monsters and have some laughter along the way.

“Monsters University” is the next District 5 “Friday Night Outdoor Family Film Festival” feature this Friday night at August 1st.

“We had a great kick off this year and I am looking forward to another opportunity to provide great family entertainment this weekend,” says Councilwoman Cheri Bryant Hamilton (D-5). “And best of all it’s free. So bring the family or a friends and a lawn chair and enjoy yourself.”

“Monsters University” tells the story of how Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan meet in college as rivals and then slowly begin a friendship in an effort to become the scariest monster. It stars the voices of Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Helen Mirren, Sean Hayes and Dave Foley.

The District 5 “Friday Night Outdoor Family Film Festival” is free to the public and movies will be shown in four neighborhood parks of the district.
