Councilwoman Marianne Butler (D) 15 is encouraging residents to learn the latest information as Metro Parks continues its look at revitalizing Wyandotte Park for the community.
“When we began this effort last year, input from the community has played a large role in this plan,” says Butler. “Everyone can have a say in how we move forward.”
The next meeting to review the Wyandotte Park Master Plan will be held at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club located at 1010 Beecher Street at 6:00pm on January 31st.
This is the third in a series of four meetings for residents and groups to voice their needs for the park. Metro Park officials and Environmental Design Collaborative will present more detailed alternatives for Wyandotte based on comments made at the November meeting with master planners.
“The momentum for this project is moving right along and I encourage residents who have not attended a meeting before to come out and see where we are in the planning process,” says Butler. “And take the time to ask questions.”
