Council Minority Affairs Committee Meeting to address Metro Louisville’s lack of diversity in jury selection

LOUISVILLE, KY- The Minority Affairs Committee of the Louisville Metro Council will address issues of concern to minorities such as subsidized federal housing, absentee landlords, home ownership, equal housing, and women’s issues.

The Committee will hold its first meeting to discuss the lack of diversity in the Louisville-Jefferson County court system on Monday, January 30, 2006, from 2-3 PM. Confirmed speakers include Raoul Cunningham, President of the Louisville Chapter, NAACP; Appellate Judge William McAnulty; Circuit Court Judge Ann O’Malley Shake and community activist Christopher 2X.
