Councilman Rick Blackwell reminds residents that the May District 12 Dialogue will be held in conjunction with the Mayor’s Community Conversation at Butler High School on Monday night, May 17th beginning at 6:30pm.

“I and other members of the Metro Council will be on hand to answer questions or just talk with anyone who has a concern about Metro Government,” says Blackwell. “This is an opportunity to meet with any government official or agency to take care of a concern.”

Once a month District 12 Dialogues feature an agency or department of Metro Government so residents will have a chance to learn more about the agency and ask questions.

“However in the past, when a Community Conversation has been in the vicinity of the District, it makes sense to combine the two meetings,” says Blackwell. “So I hope people will come out.”

The Mayor’s Community Conversation will be held at the small gym at Butler High School, 2222 Crums Lane.

For more information about the May District 12 Dialogue, contact Councilman Blackwell’s office at 574-1112. For more information about the Mayor’s Community Conversation call Metro Call at 311 of 574-5000.
