Metro Parks Tennis Center Expands Reach of Popular Adult Tennis Clinics

Monday May 7, 2012

Named “Facility Of The Year” by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Kentucky in 2009, the Louisville Tennis Center looks to respond to an increase in demand for tennis clinics in local neighborhoods.

The Louisville Tennis Center will now be offering two additional clinics. The Seneca Park clinic will start May 7th and the Chickasaw Park clinic will begin June 4th. Both clinics are through Labor Day.

“Metro Parks offers some outstanding tennis courts to the public,” said Pete McGrath Head Tennis Pro at Metro Parks, “These new clinics will allow us to showcase our courts while satisfying the demands of our growing tennis community.”

The new tennis clinics will be offered by the Louisville Tennis Center at the corresponding times. Please call the center for more information.

Normally, half the clinic is dedicated to developing proper stroke patterns followed by a half of fun competitive drills that help reinforce the skills that have been emphasized.
