Historic Locust Grove to host Holiday Sampler

Spend the day after Thanksgiving exploring our region’s heritage at Historic Locust Grove. The historic site will be open for regular hours, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and have a brand new gallery, “A Country Worth Defending-Land and Family in Early Kentucky,” to tour.
Costumed demonstrators will be in the kitchen and woodshop from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. to further your knowledge of times past. In the museum store local author Lisa Dougherty will be signing copies of her new book, “Louisville Architectural Tours,” from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m
You can even start your holiday shopping as the museum store will have a 20% discount beginning November 28 through December 6. You’ll discover jewelry, children’s toys, a great selection of local interest books, stationery & more.
