Councilman Tom Owen, District 8 and Atherton High School will play host to the Mayor’s Community Conversation and Metro Government on Monday, February 18th.

“We want to welcome Mayor Abramson to the District,” says Owen. “I also want to encourage everyone to come out and let us know if there is anything on your mind that we need to be aware of. This is your chance to talk with Metro Government.”

The Mayor’s Community Conversation will get underway at Atherton’s small gym, 3000 Dundee Road. It begins at 6:30pm.

Council President Jim King (D) 10 is also planning to attend.

The event brings together representatives of all areas of Metro Government. It is an opportunity to talk one on one with the Mayor, Metro Council members and various department heads about a concern or ask a question.

“Many times, we at City Hall need to hear about concerns in neighborhoods in or to get a problem solved,” says Owen. “But we will also be on hand for anyone who just wants to stop by and say hello.”
