Louisville—It’s a question asked many times all over Metro Louisville, “Who do I report this to?”
Sometimes Metro Police are called about crime. Other times Public Works may get a call about a problem with a street.
“Some folks may not know where to complain if a building is being built improperly in their neighborhood or who to call about tall weeds growing in front of a house,” says Councilman Rick Blackwell (D) 12. “We might be able to help them with that.”
Blackwell will hold a District Dialogue on Tuesday, August 29th 2006. The focus of the meeting is the function of Inspections, Permits and Licensing of the Metro Government.
The meeting will get underway at Doss High School beginning at 7:00pm.
Bill Schreck, the Director of IPL, will be the featured speaker and will be available to answer questions and field complaints.
“This is a chance to learn about what can and can’t be done in many of our neighborhoods when it comes to properties and businesses,” says Blackwell.
Metro Police, MSD and other departments will also be represented at the meeting to answer questions.
If you would like more information about the District Dialogue; call 574-1112.
