Councilwoman Scott joins Elim Baptist Church to host “Save Our Streets” block Party

Councilwoman Attica Scott (D-1) and Elim Baptist Church will partner to for a very special event designed to bring the neighborhood of 32nd and Greenwood Streets together.
The “Save Our Street” Block Party is set to for Sunday, June 10th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.
"Our communities and our neighborhoods in District 1 are reclaiming our streets and bringing back hope in the City this summer," said Scott. "I am honored that our office is responding to the SOS signals by helping to support this Block Party as part of our call for a Summer of Service."
The SOS Block Party is open to all ages. There will be food, games, health information and screenings, entertainment, and more.
"It is going to take the entire community to come together to make a difference in West Louisville. It is a pleasure to serve with city government, the faith community and the residents of Parkland to demonstrate the power of unity in "Saving Our Streets," says Pastor Vincent E. James of Elim Baptist Church.
