Louisville – A fourth neighborhood walk in District 15 has been added to a growing list of areas being walked by Councilwoman Marianne Butler and officers of the LMPD’s 4th Division for Violent Crime Reduction Walks in April.

It is part of the 90 Days and 90 Nights keeping Streets Safe program.

“The Lucky Horseshoe Neighborhood will hold its second walk this year and that shows dedication to working with police and neighbors to fight crime,’’ says Butler.

Since February, Butler and officers have gone where neighborhoods have requested walks. The officers talk about the latest in crime prevention including blockwatch programs.

Here are the dates for the next four walks in District 15:

  • Cloverleaf Neighborhood Association Crime Walk - April 22 at 6 P.M. Start at Gutermuth Elementary School, 1500 Sanders Lane.
  • Wilder Park Neighborhood Association Crime Walk - April 23 at 7 P.M. Start at Wilder Park Community Center, 120 W. Fairmont Ave.
  • Oakdale neighborhood Association Crime Walk - April 29 at 5:30 P.M. Start at the Salvation Army Building in Wyandotte Park, 1010 Beecher Street.
  • Lucky Horseshoe Neighborhood Association Crime Walk – April 30th 6:30pm at 1017 Queens Avenue.
